Update from Italy on the Earthquake

Finale Emilia (Modena) This town near Modena has 4000 people that are homeless, living in tents or sleeping in cars near their homes to avoid looting.

Estimated at 1500. As a local officer said "thirthy seconds of EQ wiped out thousand years of history.

The dead count still at 7, four of whom were workers on the "grave yard shift" in a local factory. Another of the victims was a 103 year old woman killed by a massive heart attack as she was trying to leave her home during the EQ.

San Carlo, another battered town, is fighting the mud, as the rain has poured in the area.
